Jared Jones Real Estate Team Newletter: August 2019

Your Life Matters

As you may have noticed a lot of crazy things going on. Protests, police getting kicked out of famous coffee shops, politics with heated rhetoric – it seems that the daily breaking news makes you wonder on what’s happening nowadays. It is difficult to absorb and much of it is divisive. We get up each day and approach work and life with a mission of putting OTHERS first.

That is why our mission statement is this month’s Homeward Bound: Your Life Matters. We always remind our team: Whoever you are talking to, looking at, thinking about – whoever they may be – in your mind, always say to yourself about them, “Your life matters”. Words can’t stress enough how we put others first in our business, with our Servant Leadership model. Yes! We love selling real estate, but the reason we do it better than most, we believe, is because we approach everyone and each other with that mission in mind: Your Life Matters. This way of thinking means we must go beyond what is required. One of our favorite restaurants, Chic-Fil-A, calls it 2nd Mile Service. I call it a better way to work and live. This may help explain why we also do things differently than other real estate companies, like donating portions of our income to worthy causes. Let’s work together to make a difference.

Giving Back Means the World to Us

Speaking of gifts… In last month’s letter, we updated you on our goal of raising $10,000 for Matthews Hope. This is where we need your help and
how you can benefit at the same time… Charitable contributions are tax deductible to a point. Rather than give your money to the government, you should consider making a donation to a charity. We believe it will somehow come back to you – well beyond a simple tax deduction. A core value of our team is “the size of the hole you give back is directly proportionate to the size of the hole you receive back.” Either way, your referrals are in good hands and help us contribute to a good cause.

Life moves fast for some and we are eager to make the Home Selling and Buying experience a smooth & rewarding one. Over the last 1

7+ years of helping thousands of families sell their home and/or buy another, we have met some wonderful, loving, caring people. People like you!
Your referrals really do help local families in need.

No one chooses to be homeless, yet the reality is there are many people who are experiencing homeless every night. In Central Florida, over 14,000 students were identified as being homeless in the Central Florida as of April 2019. The chronically homeless are visible on our streets downtown and in the woods. Housing people is the opportunity we have to help!

Who do you know considering buying or selling a home you could refer to my real estate sales team? Not only will they benefit from our award-winning service, but we donate a substantial portion of our income on every home sale to Matthews Hope. I want to make it easy to refer your friends, neighbors, associates or family members considering making a move, so here are your options:

1. You can pass along our business card to them, I have enclosed a couple here for that purpose.

2. You can go to www. ReferralRewardsFL.com and enter their contact info on line or forward the link to who you know considering a move.

3. Of course you can always call me direct as well at 407- 706-5000.

Let’s make a difference together!

Dear Valued Client,

You and your referrals mean more than
ever to my team and I. As we move forward in this new season, please know we are extremely thankful for you and you being
a special part of our business. With all my appreciation.

Eco-Friendly Cleaning Tips

  1.  Refresh Your Dishwasher — If your dishwasher could use a thorough cleaning, ditch the expensive chemical tabs and instead fill a dishwasher-safe bowl with two cups of white vinegar and set it on the top rack. Let the otherwise empty dishwasher run on cycle to get rid of any odors and bacteria.
  2. Cleaning the Microwave — Lemons are great for attacking the stains in your microwave. Simply cut a lemon in half and squeeze each half of the lemon in a bowl and place the lemon into a bowl filled halfway with water
You’ll need:
a lemon, a bowl and water
  1. Place the bowl into the microwave and set the timer for up to 2-3 minutes on high.
  2. When finished, let the microwave cool down for a couple of minutes and then wipe it down with a clean, damp cloth or paper towel.
