Kissimmee shoppers are getting another fresh-and-organic grocery option. According to reporting by Neil Cooney for What Now Orlando, Sprouts Farmers Market is planning a new store at the corner of Orange Blossom Trail and Osceola Parkway, a location first surfaced in a widely shared post in the Community of Kissimmee Facebook group.

Planned for 2982 N Orange Blossom Trail, the store will anchor a new 81,906-square-foot shopping plaza, a project valued at $3.45 million, according to the Orlando Business Journal. For the north Kissimmee corridor, it is the kind of anchor that tends to pull a full plaza of smaller tenants in behind it.

Where the new Sprouts is going

The site sits at Orange Blossom Trail and Osceola Parkway, a high-traffic north-side gateway into Kissimmee and one of the county’s heavier commuter corridors. Anchoring a brand-new plaza there positions the grocer to serve both established Kissimmee neighborhoods and the newer rooftops filling in across northern Osceola County.

Community reaction was quick and mostly enthusiastic. Alongside a plain “Wooo!!!,” one resident noted the corner had once been slated for a Whole Foods and said they were simply glad to see a second Sprouts, while wishing the area had a grocery with a hot buffet option.

The planned Sprouts site sits at Orange Blossom Trail and Osceola Parkway, 2982 N Orange Blossom Trail, Kissimmee.

Why Sprouts keeps choosing Central Florida

Headquartered in Phoenix, Sprouts built its identity on a farm-stand feel, with an open layout and fresh produce at the center of the store. The chain leans into organic, plant-based and gluten-free products, prepared foods and a bulk section, positioning itself against the region’s more conventional grocers.

The Kissimmee store fits a clear Central Florida expansion pattern. Sprouts opened its Lake Nona location, listed as Store #677, on June 12, 2026 at Eagle Creek Sanctuary Boulevard and Narcoossee Road, and has added or announced stores in Clermont, Poinciana and Daytona Beach as it pushes deeper into the metro. A new Kissimmee anchor is the next logical step along that arc.

The Kissimmee Sprouts by the numbers

The figures matter because they signal real retail confidence in north Kissimmee: a national grocer anchoring a new plaza on a long-watched corner.

A light real estate read on the project

For Kissimmee and northern Osceola County, a new grocery anchor is a demand signal worth noticing. National grocers underwrite locations carefully, and a produce-first brand like Sprouts choosing this corner reflects the household growth and buying power filling in along the Orange Blossom Trail corridor.

For nearby homeowners, everyday-fresh-grocery access is one of the amenities buyers quietly prize. When a plaza like this lands, it tends to firm up the surrounding blocks over time, less as a headline and more as steady, livability-driven convenience.

“Grocery anchors follow rooftops. When Sprouts commits to a corner, it’s reading the same growth we track daily.”

The Takeaway

A new Sprouts at Orange Blossom Trail and Osceola Parkway gives Kissimmee a second location of a fast-growing, produce-first grocer, anchoring an 81,906-square-foot plaza on a corner residents had watched for years. It is a small but real vote of confidence in north Kissimmee’s continued growth.

Watch for a construction timeline and an opening date. If the plaza fills in behind the anchor, expect the surrounding corridor to keep drawing everyday retail that makes the area more livable.
