AdventHealth Celebration Launches $340 Million Expansion to Meet Growing Healthcare Demand

AdventHealth Celebration is embarking on a transformative $340 million expansion that will reshape the future of healthcare in Osceola County. This ambitious project, centered around the construction of a new eight-story patient tower, reflects the hospital’s dedication to meeting the rapidly growing needs of the Central Florida community.

A Major Milestone in Celebration’s Healthcare Evolution

Located in the heart of Celebration, Florida, AdventHealth’s newest expansion will add a 302,000-square-foot tower to its existing facility. This new structure will house 80 progressive care beds, three advanced operating rooms, and additional clinical support areas—bringing the hospital’s total bed count to 437.

The tower, set to open in late 2027, is timed to coincide with AdventHealth Celebration’s 30th anniversary—a fitting celebration of three decades of innovation and care.

Job Growth and Economic Impact

Beyond enhancing patient care, this expansion is expected to provide a significant economic boost to the region. At least 150 new jobs will be created when the tower opens, with the potential to double the hospital’s current workforce—from 1,600 to as many as 3,000 employees—as demand continues to rise.
