A Ghost Kitchen Concept for Seamless Service
by modifying its kitchens to operate as a ghost kitchen setup. This model allows multiple brands to be served from a single counter, streamlining operations while expanding food choices for guests.
“It’s like a ghost kitchen setup,” explained David Goldfarb, founder and CEO of Primetime Amusements, which owns Elev8 Fun.
Elev8 Fun: More Than Just Entertainment
As the western anchor of the now-closed Seminole Towne Center, Elev8 Fun offers an array of attractions, including:
-
• A go-kart track
-
• Laser tag
-
• Bowling
-
• A massive arcade
The company is aiming to complete the kitchen conversion by March, with all construction handled internally. Goldfarb also mentioned that Elev8 is reworking its signage to reflect the updated food offerings.
A New Future for Seminole Towne Center
Once the fifth largest retail center in Central Florida, Seminole Towne Center officially closed at the end of January due to financial difficulties. However, the property is poised for a major redevelopment, with plans rumored to include new retail, apartments, and a hotel.
Brady Lessard, Sanford’s Director of Economic Development, confirmed that an official announcement is expected soon.
“We anticipate the formal closing at the beginning of March,” Lessard shared. “Some of the nation’s largest and most popular retailers are in the process of signing on to this.”
Elev8 Fun Thrives Amid Change
Despite the mall’s closure, Elev8 Fun remains unaffected by the redevelopment, as the company owns its property. Goldfarb sees the upcoming changes as a major advantage for the business.
“We think the new developments are going to be phenomenal,” he said. “This mall has lacked a lot of everything.”
With its exciting new food lineup and continued expansion, Elev8 Fun is cementing itself as a top destination for entertainment and dining in Sanford.
